Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532750) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or a related discipline. They should possess excellent work attitudes, communication skills, and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); basic knowledge in using statistical software such as SSRI or NVivo; and be able to work independently and as a team. Those with prior experience in data collection, data analysis, qualitative research, project evaluation, and report or grant writing.
The appointee will have the opportunity join a highly dynamic research team led by Prof. William Wong which involves medical professionals, epidemiologist, and psychologists in the field of Family Medicine & Primary Care. The appointee will work on various projects related to health promotion, chronic diseases, and infectious disease. Applicants possessing higher qualification and/or more experience will be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.
