Description
- Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR and overall profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make informed pricing decisions to meet budget.
- Set competitive room rates and manage inventory across various distribution channels, including OTA partnerships relevant to the Hong Kong market.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on real-time data, market conditions, and special events in Hong Kong.
- Prepare and present detailed revenue reports, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to respond to market fluctuations.
- Lead and mentor the revenue management team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development by continuously improving SOPs.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and market positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and packages that resonate with both local and international travelers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in revenue management.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 year’s working experience in hotel revenue management or similar role
- A team player with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to get their hands dirty
- People-oriented, self-driven, and ambitious
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
- Skilled in communicating and presenting effectively with internal and external parties
- Proficiency in English is required, Cantonese/Mandarin and other languages are a strong plus
- Proficiency in G Suite/Excel/Slack/PMS and other cloud platforms
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Revenue Manager or Revenue Officer
