Safety Manager

Reporting to the Manager, Airport Safety, the Safety Manager is responsible to facilitate the implementation of Safety Management System by various departments and relevant business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Review safety documents of internal departments and business partners and provide airport safety-related advisory services
• Develop and deliver safety training to internal departments and business partners
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and accident investigations
• Facilitate safety risk assessment processes on new facilities, airport operations procedures, and critical safety systems and maintain the Electronic Safety Management System for tracking airport safety hazards
• Plan, coordinate, and implement safety promotion programmes to enhance safety awareness of airport community
• Attend safety committee meetings, provide safety advice, and facilitate the implementation of follow-up actions
• Provide guidance to Operation Officers and oversee service providers
• Undertake ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Aviation, Logistics, Engineering, Science or related disciplines with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in airport operations / safety or other relevant industries
• Possessing relevant safety qualifications, such as ICAO Airport Safety Professional or HK Registered Safety Officer is an advantage
• Proactive, capable of meeting deadlines and working under pressure, a good team player with strong organisational, interpersonal, and fact-based problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and possessing a good knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau is an advantage
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Possessing a valid HK driving license Class 1 is preferred
