School of Communication - Manager

- manage administrative tasks for the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate (TPG) programs;
- provide support for the planning and operation of programs offered by the School, including student admissions, curriculum development, administrative tasks related to learning and teaching activities, and initiatives to enhance graduate employability;
- assist in preparing documentation such as reports and proposals for quality assurance purposes, including accreditation-related documents;
- develop and implement industry engagement initiatives to secure internships and placement opportunities for students and graduates;
- organise activities to strengthen the School's branding and promote its programs through various media channels;
- liaise with internal units and external entities to initiate and foster collaborations and networks within Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, the region, and beyond;
- coordinate school-specific events such as academic conferences, public lectures, and student recruitment fairs;
- provide secretarial support for various school and program committees; and
- assist the Dean in supervising junior staff and support the Dean’s broader responsibilities.
Applicants Should
- possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of working experience in the tertiary education sector, including at least 3 years in a middle-management position;
- have ample experience in the administration of academic programmes, including self-financing ones;
- have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- possess sound supervisory and team-building skills;
- have extensive connections with industry and the community;
- have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation and problem-solving abilities; and
- have a quality-assurance mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
