The Job
- Provide technical advice and oversees MEP design, specifications and tender documentation for engineering related systems and provisions for development projects in compatibility of statutory requirements and HKHS standards.
- Explore new technologies/industries’ latest practices and implement in appropriate projects.
- Review the development design and tender documentation relating to building services, energy optimization and life cycle assessment in project design stage.
- Conduct quality review of workmanship of on-site works.
- Liaise with public utility companies to explore collaboration opportunities in appropriate projects.
- Assist in preparing business plan for the division.
The Person
- Degree holder in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Corporate Member of professional institution of HKIE, IMechE, CIBSE or IET.
- At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in design practices and project management with comprehensive MEP expertise. Must have relevant work experience from property developer.
- Familiar with government ordinances and regulations.
- Solid experience in BIM and well-versed in BEAM certification.
- Strong communication and influencing skills; able to play an internal advisory role on MEP matters.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
