This role supports the Director, Investments, in formulating and implementing private asset strategies covering all asset classes across non-public investments. Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and deploying investments to align with strategic goals and enhance long-term returns. The role oversees manager performance and risk, engages with Group and external managers to source opportunities, and ensures strong governance and execution of the private asset platform. It also supports the Investment Committee and senior management by addressing private asset-related queries, facilitating the approval process, and enabling informed decision-making.Job Descriptions:
- Lead and manage the private investment platform, overseeing all private asset classes including private equity, private credit, real estate, and other alternative investments
- Develop and implement the private investment strategy and construct portfolio to meet investment objectives such as performance, diversification, liquidity and allocation target
- Oversee the selection and onboarding of best-in-class private asset managers through manager due diligence, evaluation of track records, and assessment of investment & operational capabilities.
- Oversee deployment strategy, capital allocation, and lead negotiation and execution of investment agreements and partnership terms with private asset managers.
- Drive continuous enhancement of the private investment platform and build strategic partnerships with best-in-class private asset managers to support company’s long-term investment goals.
Job Requirements:
- University degree in Finance or related discipline.
- 8 years investment experience related to investments in private and alternative space.
- Self-driven, open minded, and fast learner
- Team player and strong stakeholder management skills
- Good communication skills with ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- Project management skills with ability to multitask and meet deadline
- Experience in private and alternative assets
- Asset owner experience preferred
