Mission
Your mission is to craft performance-driven, SEO-optimized content that helps drive MoneySmart Hong Kong’s organic growth and campaign effectiveness.
You’ll work across organic content, paid ad copy, and landing page optimization to make sure our voice is not only on-brand but also discoverable, clickable, and converting.
This role sits at the intersection of SEO, copywriting, and emerging AI trends in search and content generation. You’ll contribute directly to growing our traffic, visibility, and application volume across product verticals.
You’ll report to the Organic Marketing Manager and work closely with content, performance, and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Create high-performing and search-optimized copy for landing pages, meta descriptions, social media, CTAs, and paid ad campaigns
- Assist with uploading content and images for the website.
- Drive on-page SEO improvements including keyword optimization, internal linking, headers, and schema
- Conduct keyword research, clustering, and SERP analysis using both traditional and AI-powered tools
- Integrate AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, SurferSEO, Jasper) to streamline content creation and SEO execution
- Plan and execute SEO content strategy—researching, writing, uploading, and optimizing content across categories
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, SoV) and present actionable insights to the wider team
- Stay on top of Google algorithm updates, search trends, and the evolving role of AI in SEO
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency across channels
- Assist/support in testing new SEO tactics to grow traffic, improve rankings, and increase user acquisition
Skills Required
SEO & Copywriting
- Proven experience writing content that ranks and converts—whether for landing pages, comparison tables, or ad creatives
- Familiar with SEO fundamentals: title tags, metadata, alt text, internal linking, and keyword placement
- Strong research and rewriting skills—able to simplify complex financial topics for a wide audience
AI + Search Trends Awareness
- Passionate about how AI is reshaping SEO and content workflows
- Experience using AI tools to enhance keyword strategy, SERP modeling, or first drafts
- Familiar with Google SGE, AI Overviews, and voice search optimization
Analytical & Collaborative
- Proficient in tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4
- Ability to present insights in a clear, actionable way
- Strong team player who enjoys working across disciplines—content, acquisition, product
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in SEO, copywriting or content marketing roles
- Strong fluency in Traditional Chinese and English (written and verbal)
- Native-level copywriting skills in Cantonese is a must
- Knowledge of the Hong Kong digital and financial landscape
- Ability to write with wit, clarity, and purpose—especially across digital channels
- Experience working in a content-heavy environment (e.g., fintech, marketplace, media) is a plus
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) is a bonus
