The Role
VP, Derivatives Product Manager, Equity Sales & Derivatives
Key Accountabilities
- Perform daily advisory and dealing functions on equity derivatives products in a timely and accurate manner;
- Provide trade execution support for sales team, and collaboration with different stakeholders internal and externally;
- Perform routine product due diligence and product risk assessment according to regulatory standards and internal guideline;
- Provide market briefing, product advisory and training on derivatives products;
- Handle the daily operational processes and periodic reporting for the dealing team;
- Lead process reengineering projects and ad hoc problem solving requests on the product life cycle.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in dealing or related work experience, proven experience on OTC equity products is required;
- Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent;
- In-depth understanding of equity derivative products; strong awareness of market trends and economic outlook;
- Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, competent in VBA is preferred;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is preferred.
