Job Descriptions:
- Perform ALM position regular monitoring, including annual health check/ status note production; data request form production for simulation generation and other BAU exercises
- Support identification of SAA review priorities with considerations of risk profiles, PRE, risk-reward trade-off etc. and prepare financial impact and analysis of SAA review
- Support investigation of potential enhancements for balance sheet management, perform respective financial quantification and support stakeholder engagement
- Support maintaining the ALM related documents, prepare materials and organize the ALCO meetings and maintain a quality and efficient communication channel and assist in updating relevant committees upon the latest status of SAA review or balance sheet management initiatives
- Support streamlining and enhancing the production and control process and help ensure all initiatives and changes follow the corporate governance requirement
- Provide analysis and support to the other actuarial functions and departments and guidance to junior staff
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder majoring in Actuarial studies, Statistics or related fields
- Associate level in actuarial exam progress
- Minimum 4 years of actuarial working experience
- Knowledge and experience in life insurance industry, preferably with UK with-profits management, HKRBC or
- economic capital and financial reporting experience
- Knowledge in Prophet and/or stochastic modelling is preferred
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Detailed minded with strong analytical skills
