Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the HKU Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality (Ref.: 533021) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 3 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. They should be excellent communicators who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Perfect command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Experience in postgraduate programme management would be an advantage.
The appointee will play a versatile role at the frontline handling a range of tasks in postgraduate programme administration such as admissions, registration, timetabling, assessment, student affairs, curriculum revisions, quality assurance/enhancement and committee support. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the daily operations and administration of the TPG program.
- Coordinate with faculty, students, and stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Support curriculum development and review processes.
- Manage program-related communications and marketing efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required for programme evaluations.
