Role Introduction
Reports To: Flight Crew People Manager
This role is part of a professional team in our Flight Operations Department, which consists of flight crew and ground staff teams, both working to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and service. Safety is intrinsic to everything we do.
As an Assistant Manager Flight Crew People Services (FCPS), you will be responsible for providing people-related administrative services to Flight Crew and administrative support to the FCPS team, as well as supporting the management of Flight Crew data.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the off-boarding process of Flight Crew and act as a facilitator between Flight Crew and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure a smooth process is achieved
- Process Management and Check & Training appointments of Flight Crew, and settle relevant insurance invoices
- Administer change of employment terms of Flight Crew, non-standard employment certification of Flight Crew, Crew Information Repository System (CIR) and perform UAT for system changes
- Report work injuries to the Labour Department for Flight Crew and follow up subsequent correspondence from the Labour Department
- Manage purging of physical P-file and People Hub data of Flight Crew
- Monitor Hong Kong work visa renewal status of Flight Crew and follow up for any delay in renewal
- Respond to external solicitors’ letters concerning Flight Crew employment information, and reply to correspondence from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department regarding Flight Crew employment details
- Complete Census & Statistics Department’s surveys relating to Flight Crew statistics. Any other tasks as directed by Head of Flight Crew People Services
- Provide a point of contact for Flight Crew to enquire about employment related information
- Preserve the confidentiality of Company and individual personal information
Requirements
Knowledge
- Tertiary education or above.
- Knowledge of relevant employment ordinances and Company policies.
Skills
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong self-motivation for continuous learning and improvement.
- High level of attention to details and problem solving skills.
- Good team player with an ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.).
- Good understanding of pilot culture.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working experience with good understanding of airline operation and Company policies.
