Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst who is energetic, detail-oriented, and curious about technology. The ideal candidate is organized, multilingual, and capable of bridging business needs with digital tools. This role will play a key part in driving our transformation initiatives by supporting requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and daily reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and document business requirements across departments (investment, compliance, HR, finance, client services).
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions with stakeholders in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
- Translate needs into clear documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows.
- Maintain and update daily/weekly management dashboards and reports for strategic visibility.
- Ensure accurate, timely delivery of insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Liaise with data owners to troubleshoot issues and improve reporting quality.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of technology platforms (e.g., Order & Portfolio Management, Mobile App solutions, and other future implementation).
- Track project milestones, vendor deliverables, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Help ensure vendor communication is aligned with internal expectations.
- Assist in building high-level project timelines and tracking progress.
- Support application development lifecycle documentation (requirements, testing, deployment).
- Participate in project meetings, record minutes and follow-up actions.
- Prepare internal materials and status updates for project sponsors and senior management.
- Help promote adoption and understanding of new systems across the business.
- Languages: Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work or internship experience.
- Exposure to business transformation, project coordination, or SaaS implementations is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-focused.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Sheets/Looker Studio).
- Technically curious and adaptable to learning new tools and platforms.
- Basic understanding of:
o Project management concepts
o Cloud-based platforms and modern SaaS tools
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with simple automation tools or scripting (e.g., VBA, Python, low-code tools).
- Exposure to AI tools for workflow enhancement or reporting (e.g., ChatGPT, data summarization tools).
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or project tracking tools.
