About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division in Hong Kong, the Captain is responsible for providing quality service in a friendly, natural, courteous manner and always be attentive. The Captain reports to the Restaurant Manager.
As Captain, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare mise-en-place
Deliver a delighted dining experience to our guests
Create special moments and provide seamless service with guests
Make recommendations on the choice of menu items with good product knowledge
Meet and greet guest in a professional manner
Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the restaurant
As Captain, we expect from you:
Experienced in Chinese Cuisine is highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command in spoken English and preferably in Mandarin / Cantonese communication
Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry
