POSITION PURPOSE

SANLORENZO Asia Pacific (Simpson Marine) is looking for a high-potential Chief of Staff & Executive Assistant to work directly with the CEO in supporting both the strategic direction and the daily execution of the Group’s priorities across the Asia-Pacific region.

This is a hybrid role that blends strategic project coordination with high-level executive support. On one hand, you will act as a thought partner to the CEO, helping to structure key initiatives, streamline internal execution, and ensure follow-through across teams. On the other, you will manage day-to-day workflows, communications, and organizational logistics to ensure the CEO operates at maximum effectiveness.

The position is ideal for a smart, organised, and motivated professional looking to step into a central role within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. A background in consulting or a strategic/analytical role is highly valued, as is the ability to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of operational and administrative tasks when needed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the CEO on cross-functional priorities, business planning, and internal initiatives across markets and business lines.
  • Help structure agendas, define next steps, and follow through to execution with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare memos, briefing notes, board decks, and internal communications to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate strategic projects, ensuring clarity, momentum, and delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and other executives, clients, and stakeholders.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, organise travel and logistics, and coordinate meetings across time zones.
  • Handle incoming communication, screen priorities, and ensure timely responses.
  • Prepare agendas, materials, and minutes for internal and external meetings.
  • Track action points and proactively manage timelines and deadlines.
  • Assist in handling personal and administrative matters with utmost confidentiality.

SKILLS & PROFILE

  • 5–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, executive support, operations, project coordination, or business/strategy roles in dynamic, high-performance and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to support senior leadership with both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex calendars, logistics, and priorities with efficiency.
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft presentations, summaries, and executive-level documents.
  • Hands-on mindset with the maturity to handle confidential matters and the flexibility to switch between high-level projects and practical execution.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English is required; Chinese and Italian language skills are an advantage.
