Position Description
Coordinate with airline customer and internal parties to manage and control maintenance plan execution, perform task re-prioritisation according to customer’s requirements, resolve job conflicts and constraints faced during the day of operation.
What You'll Do
Oversee Cathay’s home base line maintenance in Hong Kong, tackling real challenges and ensuring smooth operations.
Analyze dynamic changes to maintenance requirements and make re-prioritization decisions according to airline operation requirements
Review task deferral requests, assess priorities and potential impact to operations and decide on plan of action
Oversee and review aircraft switch, AOG or critical paths to forecast and plan aircraft maintenance inputs
Monitor progress of maintenance tasks and coordinate with airline customers to ensure aircraft availability and timely rotation decisions can be made
Handle incoming defects, direct troubleshooting, and coordinate AOG recoveries to maintain aircraft availability.
Lead teams to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring on-time performance for our airline partners
What You'll Need
Minimum of 8 years of maintenance experience related to B1/B2 on A330/A350/777/747-400/747-800
A strong background in airline maintenance with the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes
Preferably experience in commercial airline maintenance control position
A recognized university degree in any discipline
A valid EASA / HKAR-66 B1/B2/B2* License endorsed with appropriate Airbus / Boeing aircraft type ratings
