The role would include: supporting business development efforts, mapping stakeholders, identifying profiling opportunities and defining a calendar of internal and external tactical activity such as key speaking positions, industry trade shows, internal roadshows, and other leadership communications. You will be hands-on in delivering some of this activity in close collaboration with specialists in the broader global Communications and Marketing function.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Asia senior leadership and Industrial team and hand-in-hand with regional communications and marketing leads to align deliverables to the Asia business plan, priorities and business requirements.
• Working with the AMEA BP, and Comms & Marketing colleagues in creating external messages to enhance brand awareness and attract talent.
• Working with the Asian business development, win work and market leads to support in driving market growth, bid positioning with relative projects and campaigns.
• Amplifying the voice of the regional CEO and key senior leaders both internally and externally.
• Supporting on Government Relations and social value initiatives in a hands-on capacity.
• Consult and advise internal clients on marketing and communications strategies, tactics, optimal deployment cadence, measurement and continuous improvement aligning regional output to global standards.
• Managing any external relationships with communications or event-based marketing vendors – PR firms, freelance/contract talent, etc.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
• Work with the AMEA (Australia, Asia, Middle East) business partner to deliver an integrated plan for the region.
• Measure and evaluate effectiveness of all activities in the region.
• The role will deliver activities in Hong Kong, Mainland China, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.
• You will work in close collaboration with the Marketing and Digital Communications, External Communications and Internal Communications leads in the region, and the wider global team, to design and deliver campaigns and communications. As part of the Global Communications & Marketing team, you will also support regional deployment of global initiatives.

Requirements:

• Provable knowledge of the Engineering Services market in Asia.
• A good understanding of the Rail and Transportation, Buildings and Places and Industrial market and key industry players.
• Worked and resided in Asia for at least 10-years with experience studying or living internationally.
• Ability to think strategically, see the big picture and broader company business objectives.
• Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.
• Project management and prioritization skills.
• 360-degree Marketing and Communications experience, with a strong emphasis on Marketing.
• A focus on measuring performance and making data-driven decisions.
• High levels of initiative and confidence to come up with, develop, share and deliver ideas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and write compelling content to be used across all communications channels including campaign material, reports, articles, speeches, case studies, social media and website.
• Able to build trusted relationships and influence people across cultures.
• Proven experience working in an organisational matrix environment.
• Proven ability to report to and collaborate with senior leaders.
• Degree in Marketing (preferred), Business, or Communications.
• +8/10 years of experience in a related role.
• The role will be based in Hong Kong.
• Ability to speak Cantonese Chinese as well as impeccable fluent written and spoken English.
• Travel approximately 25% of time within Asia region.
