The Faculty of Arts is seeking an innovative, dynamic and organised individual to join us as the Communications Manager. Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related business discipline, along with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in tertiary education, with a proven track record in digital marketing, website development, and social media promotion, will be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), as well as strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in digital marketing channels, content creation for online brand building, and marketing activities is essential. Familiarity with website editing and video-editing software such as Canva, Movie Maker, WordPress, etc, is also required. The successful candidate should be collegial, capable of managing tight deadlines, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The appointee will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns using digital marketing channels, including website development, online advertising, and social media. These efforts will aim to enhance the Faculty’s profile and promote awareness of new academic programmes and initiatives locally, in Mainland China, and globally. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the media, to support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned with the Faculty’s strategic goals. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Occasional work outside office hours, including weekends, may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
