Location: Central & Western District
Roles & responsibilities:
- Perform multiple tasks to provide in-centre and community outreach support for healthcare and service development team, and act as the member ambassador;
- responsible for reception, membership registration, members briefing, activities inquiry for promotion / community education programs;
- assist the service development team in following up feedback of promotion / community education programs;
- assist nursing team in assessment, consultation and health education both in centre and community education / health assessment activities / home visits;
- assist in organizing various health promotion activities and self-help management program; and
- perform any other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a recognized degree preferably in health-related discipline, such as public health, community healthcare, nutritional studies, exercise science, health education, gerontology, psychology, etc.; and
- at least 2 years of relevant working experience.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $23,585 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 8) plus a community outreach allowance currently at $1,000. Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
