Position Summary
A 46-month comprehensive blended-mode professional development tailored for kindergartens. The project seeks to provide practical coaching guidance and support to apply theory to practice for teachers and school management. The project promotes a conducive universal environment design to enhance inclusion and participation of all learner diversities and aims to foster a long-lasting support network between schools.
Key Responsibilities :
Development and set-up of the online PD community platform.
Ongoing operations and maintenance of the platform, maintain close communication with the vendor of the learning platform.
Develop and implement strategies to create a vibrant and engaging community of practice within the organization.
Work with curriculum designer consultant, coaches, and members of the community to identify their needs and interests, and develop relevant content and PD activities to meet those needs.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing and collaboration among community members through online and in-person platforms, such as discussion forums, webinars, workshops, and conferences.
Develop and maintain communication channels to keep community members informed about upcoming events, resources, and opportunities for engagement.
Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, industry associations, and other relevant organizations, to bring new knowledge and perspectives to the community.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the PD activities, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide training and support to community members on how to effectively participate in the PD activities.
Job Requirements :
A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Education, Communication or Social Sciences.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching, community development, community building, or community engagement.
Experience in developing and delivering training programs is preferrable.
Knowledge in inclusive practices and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is preferable.
Knowledge of community-building strategies, such as social networking, online communities, and events planning.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of knowledge management and knowledge sharing.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.
