Job Responsibilities:
- Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Identify, assess, and manage the various risks faced by the company.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s risk management framework, identify potential risks, propose mitigation measures, and write audit reports to communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and the board.
- Develop and implement risk control measures to reduce the likelihood and impact of risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, compliance, and other departments to ensure the effective implementation of risk management measures.
- Stay informed about the financial and tax regulatory developments, regularly update and ensure that the company’s risk management policies align with local regulations, and Ensure that risk management activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Job Requirements:
- Familiar with the relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and best practices in finance, auditing, compliance, and risk management. Candidates with professional certifications or prior experience in compliance and risk control in the UAE will be given priority.
- Fluent in English, with an English proficiency level of IELTS 6.5 or above.
- Ability to analyze complex data and information and identify potential risks.
- Ability to effectively communicate with various departments and external organizations.
- Ability to quickly identify issues and propose solutions.
- Strong professional ethics and confidentiality awareness.
