Purpose of the position:
Champion Instagram initiatives across ELLE HK, Cosmopolitan HK, Harper's BAZAAR HK, and more. Inspiring and empowering our audience through storytelling that celebrates fashion, beauty, features, lifestyles and beyond. You will execute innovative social media content on Instagram that grows our audience, deepen readers’ engagement and amplify our brand’s voice.
In this role, you will:
- Develop fresh, engaging, and original social media content that captures our brand DNA and speaks directly to our audience’s passions and lifestyles
- Manage day-to-day social accounts on Instagram and tailor content to fit the tone and style of each platform
- Keep finger on the pulse of trending topics to optimize content performance
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to create promotional content that drives commercial success while maintaining editorial integrity
- Work hand-in-hand with photographers, videographers, editors, and freelance contributors to create stunning visuals and compelling stories for both editorial and client campaigns
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field
- 1 year experience in social media content creation, editorial publishing, or digital marketing — preferably within lifestyle, beauty, or women’s media
- A storyteller with exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
- Comfortable producing and editing video content; on-camera experience is a major plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Team player who thrives in collaboration and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders and freelancers
Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office.
