Our GCIO organisation plays a critical role for the bank. This team partners with the businesses to build the platforms, systems, and products that our customers use every day. We keep people’s money and data safe and are at the forefront of driving innovation for our businesses, customers, and colleagues. Within GCIO, our cybersecurity team designs, implements and operates control to manage risk. This team helps define our group cyber security standards, oversee the security of our network, applications and infrastructure, provide round-the-clock monitoring and security incident response services.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Cyber Security Analyst.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
The Cryptography Operations team directly impact the business by implementing the cryptographic solutions required to a standard in line with the business’ risk appetite. This role involves managing the cryptographic hardware and related software used in cryptography and its configuration, crypto-load and installation into data centres and/or external hosting environment
Develop applicable knowledge objects, procedures and secondary standards to support agreed upon SLA or project deliverables
Maintain and enhance the delivery of cryptographic technology, process and relevant controls
Ensure Crypto related inventory controls (key and HSM) are maintained
Implement and operate effectiveness of Cryptographic controls. Contribute to the risk reduction, escalation and reporting. Support the remediation of risk items
Provide guidance and consultation in new Crypto technology, process and control
Support the KCI/KPI metric and reporting
To be successful you will need
Background understanding in cryptography technologies applicable to financial service companies, cloud security, data security, internet and cyber security
Prefer Technical certification: PCI QSA, CISA/CISM, CISSP, ITIL or relevant college education
Working knowledge in industrial standard hardware-based encryption, internal Control, Cyber Security, Compliance a plus
Working knowledge in collaboration technologies such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, MS Team, SharePoint is necessary
Unix/Linus platform and scripting, basic programming experience in Java or Python, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), network, database, mainframe, midrange a plus
Prior experiences in IT development, IT services management and system administration a plus
Available to work on weekday evening or weekend to support change duties when necessary
Licensed to operate and owned private automobile (UK Only)
