Responsibilities:
- Assist the Environmental Officer for the inspection, supervisor and monitoring of the environmental performance of the works;
- Liaise with and assist the Environmental Team (ET) and Independent Environmental Checker (IEC) on all matters related to environmental monitoring and auditing;
- Conduct daily inspections of the site for identifying potential hazards to the environment, and to report findings with recommendations for corrective actions;
- Participate in the weekly environmental walks;
- Attend Site Safety and Environmental Management Committee (SSEMC) meetings and Site Safety and Environmental Committee (SSEC) meetings;
- Assist in prepare and update the monthly environmental report;
- Arrange and provide the environmental training including the site specific induction training and toolbox talks and to organize environmental promotional activities; &
- Advise on the implementation of an environmental management system.
Requirements:
- Completed Environmental Protection Course for Environmental Supervisors or equivalent organized by CICTA or similar training institutions;
- Good Command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Minimum 2 years of construction site experience; &
- Have a Valid Safety Green Card.
