The Faculty is looking for suitable candidates to provide administrative support for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Supervisor(s) in the administration work of general office (e.g. finance and personnel matters) and academic programmes (e.g. admissions, curriculum and quality assurance matters, course enrollment);
- Handle various proposals, applications, awards and reimbursement, such as staff research grants and student scholarships;
- Collect and check various data for reports;
- Maintain website, and organise events/activities (such as conferences/seminars and orientations, visits);
- Serve on 2 or 3 Faculty’s collaborative staff team(s) in supporting teaching and learning, staff research and research students, and/or communication;
- Service committees including minutes taking and proposal drafting; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in computer skills (e.g. word processing, excel and powerpoint);
- Knowledge of photo-editing and graphic design (such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) will be an advantage;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required;
- Self-motivated, have a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Able to work independently and in a team under pressure.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Salary range for reference: HK$22,275 to HK$30,000
