About Our Company

A dynamic and energetic company engaging in the local construction as a main contractor for major Civil Engineering and Building Maintenance works.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DUTIES

Responsible for the company's overall Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) strategy. This includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving the SEQ management systems.

Reports key performance indicators, risks, and improvement recommendations to top management to support strategic decision-making.

Ensures all operations and construction projects fully comply with Hong Kong regulations, including occupational safety, environmental, and industrial ordinances.

Manages all SEQ-related litigation, investigations, and hearings with government departments to minimize legal and financial risks.

Prepares and submits all mandatory reports and permits. Conducts high-level risk assessments.

Oversees SEQ audit and inspection programs for all sites, ensuring prompt corrective actions.

Leads investigations into serious incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

Manages external communications with clients, subcontractors, and government authorities to protect the company’s reputation.

Promotes corporate-wide SEQ awareness through training programs to enhance employee consciousness,and drives continuous improvement in all SEQ aspects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.

Must be a Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and Registered Safety Auditor (RSA)

At least 15 years’ SEQ experience in major construction contractors, including 5 years in a departmental head role.

In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong construction regulations and proven experience handling Labour Department/EPD legal procedures.

Familiarity with BIM/smart site tech, and strong leadership/interpersonal skills.

Candidate with Law degree or related certificate will be an advantage.
