Major Duties:
(a)
To perform teaching duties in social work modules, including supervision of students’ projects / fieldwork practicum in social work settings;
(b)
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
(d)
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e)
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised degree in Social Work or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification,
(b)
Registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance Chapter 505 and holding valid practicing certificate;
(c)
At least 5 years’ full-time post-degree teaching and/or industry experience in social work practice;
(d)
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(e)
Good records of supervision experience in social work settings and connection with the industry or professional bodies would be added advantages.
Notes:
(1)
The post of Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Fieldwork Supervisor is at the rank of Lecturer.
(2)
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
