About the role:
We are currently seeking motivated Personal Care Workers to join our team in City of Brimbank on a Permanent Part-Time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an In-Home Care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours, preferably on Mondays to Fridays 7am - 6pm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist clients at home with personal care tasks like showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
- Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
- Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
- Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
- Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Based in city of Brimbank or nearby suburbs.
- Available Mondays to Fridays 7am - 6pm.
- Completed Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or above.
- Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
- Medication endorsed (preferably), and Hoist Trained.
- Minimum 1 year work experience in an In-Home Care setting.
- Current Australian Driver’s license and access to a registered and vehicle with insurance.
