Responsibilities:
- Full Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle for our smart hardware, from initial concept and definition through to launch and iteration.
- Market & User Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and roadmap.
- Product Definition: Develop and maintain detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and functional specifications.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate seamlessly with and drive progress across multiple teams, including Industrial Design (ID), Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Firmware, and Supply Chain.
- Project Execution: Manage the end-to-end development process, including prototyping, testing, validation, certification, and transition to mass production.
- Product Success: Take ownership of product quality, cost control, and delivery timelines, ensuring the product meets business goals and user expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of 2 years of product management experience in the smart hardware industry is required.
- Technical Acumen: Proven experience in the 0-to-1 development process for consumer electronics. Solid understanding of key hardware modules such as sensors, wireless communication protocols, and battery systems.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent logical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. A proven ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
- Hands-on experience with air quality monitoring or environmental sensing products.
- Familiarity with the Matter / Thread ecosystem is a significant plus.
