Responsibility:
Responsible for all purchasing activities of the Hotel including sourcing, purchasing and deliveries of mainly the food & beverage items adhering to hotel policies and procedures
Analyse market supply, trends and manage all key vendors professionally and effectively
Conduct market survey, price comparison and supplier site inspection
Maintain accurate records of food inventory levels, purchases and pricing information
Perform any ad-hoc purchasing related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Diploma or above in Logistics, Purchasing & Supply Chain, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years relevant experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B procurement
Good knowledge about food and beverage product and market supplies
Proficiency in procurement systems
Experience in managing multiple suppliers and tendering processes
Commitment to ethical business practices
Good communication skills both internally with operational departments and external suppliers
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
