Senior Executive Assistant, Development and Alumni (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532998) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience in international business development, institutional advancement, communications or public relations, preferably with experience in higher education institutions. Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua), in addition to strong organisational, communication, interpersonal, administrative and problem-solving skills with a high level of computer proficiency. Applicants must be able to work independently and under pressure, with keen attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
The appointee will primarily support the Faculty’s Development and Alumni Team in the successful coordination of international affairs and initiatives such as regional alumni networks and overseas events in alignment with the School’s strategic goals. The appointee is expected to maintain an array of activities, services and communication platforms for strengthening alumni affinity and School growth. The appointee will also be expected to proactively establish and manage collaborative relationships with overseas alumni and global partners. The appointee will be a proven team player demonstrating both resourcefulness and efficiency in trip planning, meeting scheduling, vendor procurement and other relevant administrative duties. The role may require occasionally working outside regular office hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
