The Job
Develop and implement underwriting and operational framework, policies, procedure guidelines
Monitor the processing of New Business and underwriting to ensure SLA is committed in good quality
Perform underwriting assessment on both medical / non-medical cases within approval limits
Liaise with team leads in distribution channels to identify areas of improvement
Review and verify customer due diligence, AML and CTF duties in accordance with guidelines and regulations
Participate in UAT’s and ad-hoc projects
The Person
University graduate or above, prefer with professional insurance qualifications e.g. FLMI
Minimum 6 years solid experience in Life and medical insurance underwriting of which at least 2 years in managerial role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and effective team player
Maintain good business relationship with channels, e.g agency, banassurance, broker etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels
Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking in a dynamic and changing environment
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
