Job Overview
Responsible for the daily operation of the gym and swimming pool and ensure delivery of the highest level of guest services and quality fitness advice.
Responsibilities
- To supervise facility area and maintain necessary equipment and supplies as required to achieve high standards and services.
- To ensure facilities and equipment is adequate to maintain high quality standards.
- To ensure the smooth operation of the gym and swimming pool to reach high level of service standard.
- To check and ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the gym and swimming pool.
- To report any irregularities at the gym and swimming pool.
- To keep accurate statistics as required by the Management.
- To assist in preparing budget and thereafter manage the annual budget.
- To manage expenditures as per budget commitment.
- To ensure that the department operational costs are strictly controlled.
- To ensure that life guards report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all time.
- To ensure that life guard has a complete understanding and adhere to the Hotel’s policies and procedures.
- To provide courteous and unique service to facility users.
- To maintain good relationship with facility users.
- To maintain good communication with superiors, colleagues and other related departments and show respect to every contact person.
- To remove or tidy up all outdoor furniture before bad weather signals is hoisted.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by Department Head.
Responsibilities (Con't)
Requirements
- Post-secondary standard, Diploma holder with relevant discipline in fitness / gym management;
- Possesses of Life Guard Certificate and certified First Aider;
- Work experience in Club House / Fitness Centre preferably;
- Basic knowledge of computer skills;
- Able to communicate in English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
- Physically fit, neat, tidy, and pleasant disposition;
- Service mind and able to work independently;
- Good working and learning attitude;
- Able to work shift, long hours and under pressure;
- Aligned with the group's 5 Core Values.
