The Department of Mathematics seeks candidates for a Teaching Associate position.
Duties
The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate mathematics courses, primarily the foundational courses such as calculus and linear algebra. The appointee will also advise and mentor students, organize student-related and outreach activities, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Head.
Requirements
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in mathematics. The ideal appointee should possess solid teaching experience in tertiary education and excellent communication skills. (Duration: 1-2 years, renewable subject to performance)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of a 2-year contract.
