About the Role
Deliver quality service, effective output in performance, strategic actuarial initiatives, and unfold team capacity in order to be Next Gen Finance+
Roles and Responsibilities:
Reinsurance Management
- Support in reinsurance booking and preparation of reinsurance statement of account in a timely manner.
- Clear queries from reinsurers to ensure timely reinsurance settlement.
- Prepare documentations required for reinsurance treaties approval and signoff.
- Assist in periodic regulatory reporting and group reporting on reinsurance matters.
- Ensure compliance to appropriate corporate governance, controls, and documentation policies/procedures.
- Communicates with IT, Underwriting, Claims, and reinsurers to support reinsurance management activities.
Other responsibilities
- Leverages next generation technology and digital solutions to improve actuarial workflows and processes to enhance efficiency to accelerate strategic objectives.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
- Provide support on adhoc tasks as assigned by manager
- The incumbent is required to obtain relevant license if the job involves in regulated activities.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- University / College graduate in Actuarial Science or relevant subject plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis techniques, knowledge of actuarial software will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and database skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
