Air Canada is presently looking for dynamic individuals to fill a permanent full-time position of Aircraft Mechanic at our Hong Kong Line Maintenance Station.
Responsibilities:
Aircraft Mechanic are responsible for powerplant, avionics and airframe maintenance and should have the following skill sets:
- Ability to use the correct tools, methods, techniques and equipment required to perform aircraft maintenance.
- Candidates should be able to read and understand various schematic diagrams for maintenance troubleshooting and be proficient with computers and diagnostic tools.
- Individuals need to be "team players" with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain a customer focused attitude in a demanding, high stress environment.
- Being self-motivated and confident is an asset.
- Carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks assigned by supervisors ;
- Ensure all tasks are performed with reference to relevant and valid maintenance data and in compliance with manuals or procedures given by customers and the Company ;
- Deliver service meeting standards and expectation of the customers and the Company ;
- Comply with safety instructions and working procedures directed by superiors and the regulatory authorities requirements.
Qualifications

F.5 / HKDSE graduate or above
- At least 7 years working experience in aircraft line or base maintenance
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- Require shift duties on roster basis
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with an eye for detail knowledge of quality compliance and safety
- Knowledge of computer applications
- Possess a valid Hong Kong Driving License Classes 1 and 2
- Proficiency with PC (MS Office)
