Job Duties
Design and perform metwork, woodwork, and craftwork to build mouting frames for microclimate sensors to be instealled at selected sites
Conduct site preparation civil works and assist Radar Specialist Mechanics in installation of the microclimate sensors at the sites
Support Radar Specialist Mechanics in the matintenance, repair and overhaul of the microclimate sensors
Train Works Supervisor II and Artisans of the department in designing and building mounting frames or other interface components for microclimate sensors
Employment Terms
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, off on Sat, Sun and PH
May be required to perform work shifts or irregular hours on special occasions, and such overtime will be compensated by time-off in lieu
9 month work contract, with possibility of renewal
Month salary: HK$34,243
Candidates Requirement
Have a certificate in Electrical Engineering, Carpenter or other relevant subjects from a HK Polytechnic University/Polytechnic/HKIVE/Technical Institute/Technical College; or equivalent, OR
Have completed a recognized apprenticeship with at least two years’ post-apprenticeship experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Carpenter, or other relevant trades
Have AT LEAST 8 YEARS experience in metalwork, woodwork and craftwork related to installation of electronic instruments; and
Have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard
