The Finance Office at HKUST is seeking skilled accounting professionals with strong analytical abilities to support management in daily accounting operations.
The job location for this position is the Manulife Financial Centre (MFC) in Kwun Tong.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and processing staff reimbursement requests, preparing accounting entries and ensuring compliance with the policies and guidelines of the University.
- Handling staff members enquiries and clarifying any questions or concerns.
- Reviewing and maintaining accurate and timely financial transactions, accounting records and reporting, including receipts, invoices and other documents.
- Administering related systems and monitoring payment status in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the University.
- Preparing analysis reports for departments, schools and management’s review in a timely manner.
- Participating in UAT and supporting the implementation of system projects in Accounting Operation Unit.
- Performing any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office, with fluency in English and Chinese.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability in dynamic environments, detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
Duration: 2 years (renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
