The Academic Registry is one of the crucial administrative functions of the University providing best-practice academic and student related administration in support of the University’s mission in teaching, research and social-economic development of Hong Kong. The appointee will assist in the delivery of administrative and IT needs of the Academic Quality Advancement team of the Registry. The job duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with various stakeholders on the team’s new system development.
- Support the student survey administration and operation, such as survey setup, data collection, and results release.
- Handle enquiries and technical-related tasks of the new student survey system.
- Provide face-to-face training and support to stakeholders for the new student survey system.
- Assist in the development of different IT and ad hoc projects.
- Build and maintain FAQ and content on the team’s website.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Manager. They should possess good organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and be proficient in written and spoken English, as well as in Cantonese and Mandarin. Proficiency in using office utility software and general productivity tools is also required. Candidates with knowledge and experience in project management and statistical analysis would be at an advantage. The position is for a one-year fixed term.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
