Assistant Manager, Finance (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532763) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with at least 5 year’s relevant work experience preferably in the higher education sector of a related field. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; computer literacy; and the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently as well as in a team. They should also be mature, detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee will be responsible for assisting in financial matters of the Faculty’s mainland China centres, including processing purchase orders and payments, budgetary control matters, and preparation of regular and ad-hoc financial reports. He/She will also perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
