Associate/AVP, Trust Services, Private Banking

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in ongoing administration of existing private trust and ESOP accounts in accordance to the company standard;
• Assist in the performance of the required Know Your Client “KYC” due diligence and documentation for new client on-boarding and existing client periodic review in compliance with the company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements;
• Maintain a good working relationship with both internal and external parties including clients, private bankers, lawyers and service agents;
• Support the marketing activities of our trust and wealth planning services to the private bankers and other business units;
• Participate in projects assigned on occasion for continuous business maintenance/risk management and such other duties as shall be directed by the superiors from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• Degree holder in business or business related disciplines;
• 2-5 years of experience in trust administration gain in bank or professional firm;
• Prior knowledge in trust, tax, legal and accounting will be advantages;
• Professional qualification awarded by The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) or Hong Kong Trustees’ Association (HKTA) will be an advantage;
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
• Good team player, willing to learn, attention to details and quality work outputs;
• Proficiency in Chinese and English, including spoken Mandarin;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Trust Administrator.
