About the Role
As a Associate Director, Local Markets Rates Trading, you’ll play a key role in helping to Contribute to the achievement of the Local Markets Rates Trading business objectives by supporting the franchise trading activities and manage franchise flows. This role will manage franchise flows for the HKD and RMB market.

What will your day look like?
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work with product and global sales teams to jointly build out the business franchise profitability, risk and compliance.
- Ensure consistent, competitive and timely pricing to internal and external customers.
- Deliver key aspects of the Hong Kong Local Markets Rates strategy.
- Promote the Markets business model and geographic footprint to reflect our priorities.
- Generate trading insights and ideation of the product line.
- Ensure limit management and compliance with all internal and external requirements.
- Support the Markets growth initiative, covering for rates and synchronous trading opportunities from offshore.
- Ensure alignment and adherence with Markets dealing and distribution mandates, suitability frameworks, governance and conduct policies, processes and standards.
- Ensure alignment and adherence with external regulatory requirements, both global and local.
- Identify key business risks and determine monitoring and remediation plans to manage.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
- Strong trading background and in-depth understanding of the HKD and RMB markets (onshore and offshore).
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements in Hong Kong and Greater China.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external clients, with strong customer focus and ability to drive results.
- In-depth understanding of the Asian Markets and clients, with the ability to drive revenue opportunities.
- Track record of consistent revenue generation.
