Our client is currently hiring a Business Analyst who will report directly to the Project Director. This role is essential for bridging communication with coordination between internal teams—including Business Operations & IT—and external Stakeholders such as Cargo Terminals , Government ... etc .
The ideal candidate will gather stakeholder requirements, analyze workflows, and document business processes to support the optimization of existing systems and the successful implementation of business applications. Familiarity with logistics industry operations will be a significant asset in understanding stakeholder needs and driving impactful improvements.
Job Responsible :
Proactively drive requirement analysis and work with stakeholders to prepare specifications
Communicate between with stakeholders and the IT development team to manage resources allocation and project scheduling
Be accountable for the successful delivery of new enhancements and provide operational support for the application system
Develop project plans, negotiate with stakeholders, and dynamically schedule as per changes in business needs, identifying project issues with anticipation to address them
Manage projects, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion
Evaluate business processes, analyse requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
Develop and execute test plans; perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
Train users and assist with rollout planning and support
Collaborate with external partners to improve system functionality
Host regular meetings to update stakeholders and resolve issues
Document project progress and follow up on outstanding items
Handle additional projects and tasks as required
Job Requirements:
Degree or above major in business computing, information system or a related field
Minimum 5 years+ stable Business Analysis OR Project Management experience (with Logistics industry experience is an advantage)
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Experience in creating and delivering persuasive presentations
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to articulate and communicate project updates and issues
Problem-solving capacity to identify and address core issues in projects
A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Proficiency in Cantonese and English is required; Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
