The job:
Work closely with business units to identify business potential, provide business solutions to support business goals and achieve KPIs.
Understand business need, elicit requirements with multiple stakeholders, conduct gap analysis and prepare user requirement documents.
Facilitate discussions with different parties, define solution with business and IT, helping stakeholders make informed decisions, including option evaluation, prioritization.
Coordinate with business and IT to formulate test strategy and test cases preparation, perform or coordinate user acceptance test.
Support full cycle of system implementation and change management, systems incidence management and post-implementation review.
Monitor status of project tasks, manage schedules and deadlines.
Proactively report status, assess risk, escalate issues and provide mitigation, alternatives.
Provide business insight on behalf of Life Operations, and in terms of customer experience.
The Person:
Undergraduate degree holder, preferably with major in IT or business related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years solid experience in business analyst role, experience in Life Insurance industry with good understanding of insurance would be an advantage.
Good at organizing work sessions and bridging between users and IT to translate / clarify user requirements and produce related documentation.
Experience in gap analysis, business justification and prioritization, issue identification and analysis, and problem resolution.
Effective communication skill, able to communicate concisely and timely with different groups of people.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity. Ability to meet deadlines and perform under timeline pressure.
A sophisticated MS Office user.
