Key Responsibilities
Develop Automated Solutions
- Design and develop scripts and code to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud-based resources.
- Build scalable and efficient solutions to streamline cloud infrastructure operations.
Maintain and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure
- Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimizing system performance as needed.
- Regularly review and enhance infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Implement CI/CD Processes
- Establish and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automated and secure deployment processes.
- Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested and approved before deployment.
Ensure Security and Compliance
- Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to Hong Kong regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce security controls and compliance policies.
Collaborate with IT Teams
- Work closely with developers, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure capabilities with organizational goals.
- Provide technical expertise and support to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in cloud automation technologies such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Analytical Skills
- Excellent analytical abilities to identify patterns, diagnose performance issues, and optimize cloud-based systems.
Collaboration and Communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
