About the Team
Strategy and Finance - Enterprise & International Finance Group manages the financial affairs of Telstra's Enterprise and International customers, enabling their success.
About the Role
As a Finance Analyst , you play a pivotal role by supporting your team with timely, accurate and insightful analysis to enable effective decision making by key stakeholders and business partners.
The Finance Analyst will support the coordination and development of operating plans that underpin strategic business unit goals and apply your sound analytical skills to share insights and recommendations into financial status and performance.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support team members and senior management with financial analysis and modelling to develop short and long-term strategies, as well as key performance indicators to achieve business initiatives and financial planning objectives
Leverage your technical expertise and critical thinking skills to generate meaningful insights and recommendations when inputting into business case and commercial activity
In depth knowledge with billing operations
Provide revenue assurance analysis—and investigate possible revenue leakage for service rendered to customers
Collaborate with customer and internal stakeholder for revenue recovery plan
Deliver market intelligence and analysis reports
Set up effective control to ensure timely and accurate billing
Support for statutory audit
To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
Essential
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent experience
Broad experience (5 years) in billing, revenue, and data analysis
Experience with leading small team
Superior analytical, decision-making, and problem skills
Customer centric background
Ability to work under pressure, support multiple assignments, with exceptional attention to details – work flexibly to meet business demands
Ability to work in a team environment as well as other business group
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Highly desirable
Background on Telco industry
Qualified accountant (CA or CPA)
Exposure with analytical tool (e.g Tableau, Alteryx)
