Finance Manager (3-Year Contract)

Job Duties:

Financial Management

• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports, including forecasts, for the Head of Operations.

• Report on programme and business metrics to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Manage annual budgeting and financial audits.

• Oversee payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements.

• Optimize costs and enhance service delivery across all operations, including social enterprises.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

• Maintain financial agreements and liaise with external auditors.

Operational Support

• Collaborate with the Head of Operations on financial strategies to support organizational goals and social enterprise initiatives.

• Support the management of the SE café, including budgeting and financial oversight.

• Evaluate financial risks and implement quality assurance measures.

Team Leadership

• Supervise the Finance Team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

• Provide training and support in financial processes and systems.

Ad Hoc Tasks

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations to support organizational needs and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with NGO financial operations and social enterprises preferred.

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
