Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced English<>Japanese Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreter in Hong Kong to support our project with high-quality interpretation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of Japanese and English, with proven experience in simultaneous interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and clear simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between English and Japanese
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality at all times
- Prepare in advance for assignments by reviewing relevant materials or terminology
- Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to ensure successful communication
Requirements:
- High fluency in English & Japanese (spoken and written)
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a professional Simultaneous Interpreter
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a professional Consecutive Interpreter
- Located in Hong Kong
- If a non-native must have JLPT N1 Level
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to remain neutral and professional, especially in sensitive or confidential situations
- Relevant certification or degree in interpretation or a related field is a plus
