Job responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of customer and distribution channel data to identify opportunities for business growth, customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, retention, and maximizing customer value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure the seamless integration of analytics for timely, insight-driven decision-making in business projects.
- Transform business questions into actionable analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to drive decision-making.
- Develop advanced analytics and machine learning-based solutions to enhance the effectiveness of analytics and modeling, utilizing machine learning techniques and unstructured data such as digital footprints.
- Create a comprehensive and efficient framework for end-to-end business analytics and data visualization.
- Work closely with the IT department to ensure the security, scalability, and integration of data solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and IT to ensure the successful application and continuous improvement of data models and analytics tools.
- Explore the availability, access, transformation, and use of structured and unstructured data for customer and channel analytics purposes.
- Develop a customer and channel analytics data foundation and enable behavioral analytics deliverables to business units.
Job requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Decision Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Marketing Analytics or Statistics
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in data analytics, with a minimum 3 years of experience in insurance industry
- Hands-on experience in machine learning & advanced analytics
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing large scale analytics deliverables / projects in Financial Services Industry
- Proven experience in driving analytics strategy and business results
- Ability to build strong stakeholders' relationships through thorough understanding of business requirements and the ability to analyze issues to find effective solutions
- Knowledge in data infrastructure and experience in vendor management
- Solid experience in Python & SQL is a must
- Experience in PowerBI is a plus
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin）
