Reporting to the ERP Project Lead, you will be responsible for:
assisting the ERP Project Lead in overseeing all aspects of ERP implementation projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery;
developing and managing detailed project plans, incorporating timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies;
leading the configuration of finance-related ERP modules to meet business requirements, including financial controls, accounting, and reporting functionalities;
collaborating with functional leaders and subject matter experts to gather and prioritize finance-specific business requirements;
supporting data migration efforts for financial data, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards;
facilitating workshops and meetings with finance teams to align on project deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements;
identifying opportunities to optimize financial processes through ERP-enabled automation.
supporting change management initiatives to drive adoption of new financial systems and processes across the organization;
assisting in developing training programs and documentation for finance users to ensure effective adoption of ERP financial modules;
monitoring and reporting on finance-related project progress, risks, and issues to the ERP Project Lead, providing actionable recommendations;
collaborating with the System Implementation Service Provider to ensure configurations meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and business needs;
supporting post-implementation reviews to assess finance module performance, identify lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement;
assisting in the planning, budgeting and forecasting process to ensure the overall financial sustainability of all the WKCDA projects;
developing and maintaining comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making; and
performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should:
possess a recognised university degree with professional qualifications in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline;
possess a membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent;
have 8-10 years of relevant experience of which 2 years at managerial level in a large-scale organisation;
possess solid project leadership experience in system implementation, process re-engineering and digital transformation in organisation with similar scale to the Authority;
have a good understanding and be familiar with the public sector in Hong Kong will be a plus;
have strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, sound judgment and strong ethics with impeccable integrity;
have good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting;
have good business acumen with strong analytical skills and critical thinking mindset;
have detail-oriented while having the ability to think creatively and out of the box;
have good team spirit and a good financial advisor;
have ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders;
have excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and project management skills; and
have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
