The role serves as the main point of contact from BJB’s CIO Office Sales Team on any sales and marketing related activities of Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) mandates offered by the team. The incumbent is expected to work closely with the Portfolio Managers to present and update the Relationship Managers (RMs) and the Clients of the performance of various mandates. Key performance indicators include the number of new discretionary mandates signed, target Asset under Management (AuM) as well as the level of communication and activity in promoting the bank’s mandates.YOUR CHALLENGE
Product Marketing, Communication and Training.
- Carry out HKMA Type 9 licensed activities and serve as the CIO Office (CIOO) interface to the Relationship Managers.
- Responsible for the overall CIOO marketing, communications planning and development.
- Work in close collaboration with Global Team, prepares and develops CIOO Marketing Materials, Publications and Investment Proposals.
- Provide CIOO product training and education to the front regions.
Product Sales
- Work in close collaboration with the RMs, responsible for Discretionary Mandates sales and after-sales support as a HKMA Type 9 licensed representative.
- Prepares the materials and conduct periodic performance review of the mandates with the clients.
Product Development
- Coordinate the development of new CIOO product or solutions launches in BJBHK.
- Represent CIOO sales function, contribute to the strategic project of the firm.

P r o f e ssi o n al a n d T e c hni c a l
- University degree and sound academic background in Finance and/or Statistics.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry.
- Proficiency in portfolio management consulting and sales.
- Deep understanding of financial products and industry landscape.
- Familiar with financial software e.g. Reuters and Bloomberg.
- Proficiency in Excel essential, with experience in writing VBA macros an advantage.
- Good understanding of standard statistical metrics used in analysis of performance.
- CFA is an advantage.
- Required to service Mandarin speaking clients where the main language used in written and verbal communication is expected to be Mandarin.
- Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must.
